Some Things Are Better Than Mockage
It must be said that I like mocking Torontonians about the Leafs not making it to the playoffs as much as the next... well just about everyone in Canada is ready to mock them about that... so let's go with next Canadian.
But there are collateral benefits from this, beyond the aforementioned mockage.
No Leafs means that the CBC remembers that there are other Canadian hockey teams.
This means I can actually watch the Canadians.
Sadly this means that I also might get to see Don Cherry.
Oh well, you take the good with the bad.

Cameron! We have more in common than you realize! My husband hates the Leafs, loves the Habs, and I hate Don Cherry with a passion!!!
Joanne, that is because, while you may be a capitalist running dog lackey, you are ok by me.
Also because, if there is one thing I know for sure, My Canada Does Not Include Don Cherry.
Cameron, while you are a lazy, socialist, tree-hugging idealist, I think we have major grounds for some kind of mutual respect if we both dislike Don Cherry that much. ;)
