I am sooo impressed...now you are really an adult (having a child, a house/mortgage NOTHING on a fence!!)!
And I noted you can still open it up to put a vehicle in...or is that not right?
Now it will be about putting in the french doors on the back of the house!
Oh...and sadly...shall we put a date on how soon a stupid *sshat takes to put paint on it?

Don't you know, he's all growed up now........Who'd have thunk that all those years ago when we were beating each other with plastic swords in the basement of Kernan......hahahahahha.
Who is Joe Blow?
Very swanky fence, the kind that says "Les BCBG sont ici".
Why is there a 12" (or would that be 30 cm?) gap between the bottom and the ground? Won't all your free-range chickens escape?
in re: Grafitti- I would advise picking a nice paint color and keeping a couple of gallons and a roller handy.
JJ, yeah, the paint is what we're going to do as soon as the wood dries out some. It's still pretty humid.
The gap is because the ground needs to come up by about at least 6 inches over all, and more like 8 in some others. Once that's done, we're going to think on it some more . It's possible that we're going to put some trellis down there..
