They're back.....
...so as I look out the window of my office I can see the begining of the coming tide.
The students are back.
I'm considering hiding under my desk, and I'm not even front line staff.

I would feel old - except not that we are talking about babies and realestate I feel that I have been given something else instead...I really don't miss all that stress of the school year - just the new wardrobe we would go out and get!
Challenge: tell a story about the worst outfit you ever had bought for the new school year...

Worst outfit... hell I can isolate it to one piece of clothing:
Plaid, colarless, new wave, neuru shirt from Le Chateau.
I wore it with jeans and converse.
K...grade school: boiled wool coat with itchy non-plaid, plaid lining and matching scarf - blue nuns stockings, polyester blue dress with white sailor color and satin bow at neck, bowl cut hair, with these rubber soaled blue shoes that had arrows in leather pointing over the toe back at me.
I spent days on my bike trying to wear the shoes out by dragging the arrows on the ground as a rode along - while building up enough static electricity from my clothing combo to light up the airport!!!!!
Still feel itchy under my chin just thinking about it!
I thought you were the cats meow in that shirt - as did all of the eighties girls at our school: "heh...is he YOUR brother?"
